Well we made the move.  A couple of years ago I had a web design and IT solutions business running.  I had a website, but the majority of my business came from word-of-mouth and the static website was just a site, basically a business card, floating on the highway, as millions of people drove by. Occasionally someone stopped, picked it up, glanced at it, and tossed it back into the wind. I let the business go, returned to the states, and I let my domain and hosting expire.

About 8 months ago, I stumbled on wordpress for the third time.  I had known what wordpress was, how it was developed, and I understood the basic concept of blogging.  What I didnt know was the true power and flexability behind the wordpress platform.  It really is an excellent CMS that’s both easy to use, and has almost limitless development potential.  There are hundreds of plugins, thousands of themes, and its fast and robust.  So 8 months ago I got myself a wordpress.com site, and in that time frame, learned, listened and toyed. I haven’t touched Dreamweaver since.  I developed a handful of sites for other people using wordpress, and of course, I became jealous.  I was limited to my content and approved tools and tricks while I was handing my customers freedom.  So I made the move to my own domain and its time to share the joy!

I’ll be adding a few neat tools to the site, including a keyword and keyword density parser specifically designed to extract only the content you want, using a URL or copy-n-paste text.  I will be creating a series of video tutorials, to guide you through setting up a wordpress site.  I will be concentrating on SEO architecture.  I will be discussing tricks and tips to generate traffic to your site.  How to generate backlinks, more backlinks, and how to get the quality backlinks your unique content deserves.  Mixed into this basic plan, I will also be blogging.  You know, just writing about something interesting and then clicking the ‘Publish’ button.  That’s what its all about……  Enjoy.
